How to Convert DVD to Video/Audio on Mac
Step 1. Insert your DVD into the computer DVD driver. Make sure that your DVD video is playable on PC.
Step 2. Launch TuneFab DVD Ripper and click at "Load Disc" button on the main interface. You have 3 ways to add DVD video into the program: Load DVD Disc, Load DVD Folder and Load IFO Files. When the DVD is fully loaded, you will see the DVD video on the main interface.
Step 3. There are 2 ways to customize your output settings.
Way 1: Go to "Profile" and click at the "Settings" button to open the "Profile Settings" window. You can choose output folder, output format, encoder, resolution, etc. from the profile settings window.
Way 2. Go to the "Menu" button in the upper right corner and select "Preferences" from the drop-down list. From the "Preferences" windows, you can customize your output settings, conversion setting and DVD setting.
Step 4. When all is done, click at the "Convert" button to start ripping DVD to your desired video or audio format.
How to Convert DVD to Video/Audio on Windows
Step 1. Insert DVD into DVD Driver
Insert your DVD into the computer DVD driver. Make sure that your DVD video is playable on PC.
Step 2. Add DVD Videos
Launch TuneFab DVD Ripper and click at "Load DVD" button on the main interface. Click on the drop-down arrow icon beside the "Load DVD" button, and you have 3 ways to add DVD video into the program: Load DVD Disc, Load DVD ISO and Load DVD Folder. Wait a few seconds for the software to load and analyze your DVD. When the DVD is fully loaded, you will see the DVD video on the main interface.
Step 3. Configure Output Settings
Before you start to rip your DVD, there are 2 ways to customize the output settings.
Way 1: After loading your DVD, click on the profile icon on the right side of the item. Then you have multiple output formats to choose from. Click on the "Gear" icon right on each profile, then you can change the encoding method, resolution, bitrate, frame rate, and etc. from the profile settings window according to your preferences.
Way 2. Click on the "Menu" button at the upper right corner and select "Preferences" from the drop-down list. From the "Preferences" windows, you can change the output location for your DVDs, enable GPU accerlation, and also adjust your task schedule.
Step 4. Start Conversion
When all is done, click at the "Rip All" button to start ripping DVD to your desired video or audio format.
