You may use or have heard of Apple Music, but do you know well about the hidden features of it? Here are some useful tips to help you get the most out of your Apple Music.
#1. Customize the Library View
If you want to change the headings that are displayed at the top of your library, you can do the followings:
Tab the Library tab, and then tab the "Edit" button in the top right corner.
Now you can see a list of headings including Playlists, Artists, Albums, Songs, Music Videos, Genres, Compilations, Composers, Downloaded Music, etc. Choose the one you like and tap the box next to that heading to select or unselect it.
You can also re-arrange the order of the headings by dragging the "Hamburger Menu". Finally, tap "Done" to save the settings.
#2. Edit the Albums or Songs Views
Select an album or song playlist from your library, then tap "Sort" in the top right corner to re-arrange the order of your songs by song title, artist name or recently added.
#3. View the Album of a Song
Play a song in Apple Music and you will see the mini player at the bottom of the screen.
Tap the player to open Now Playing screen, you will see the artist and album info in red letters below the title of the current song playing.
Tap the red letters, and you will see 2 options:
- Go to Artist
- Go to Album
Select "Go to Album", then you will be directed to the album of that song.
#4. Get Personalized Apple Music Suggestions
You can love or dislike music to personalize your Apple Music recommendations.
When you are listening to a song, tap the player at the bottom of the screen to open the Now Playing screen.
Tap the three dots icon and choose Love or Dislike.
#5. Improve Apple Music Sound Quality
Go to "Settings" > "Music" > "EQ", and you will see a list of presets including Acoustic, Bass Booster, Bass Reducer, Classical, Dance, Hip Hop, Jazz, etc. You can choose the one you like to make your music sound different.
#6. Set an Apple Music Song as Alarm
Download an Apple Music song from cloud and add the song into your library.
Open Clock app on iOS device, and then tap "Edit" button in the upper left corner.
Select the alarm to which you want to set the song.
Tap Sound and then select "Pick a song". Now you can click at Songs to get access to all the songs that have been added to your library. Find the song you want and tap on it.
Now tap on "Back" button in the upper left corner and then click "Save" to save the settings.
