When recording video or audio on Windows with TuneFab Screen Recorder, especially the latest version of TuneFab Screen Recorder 2.1.36, you may somehow meet with an error called Recording Failed. How to fix Screen recording Failed? Here are the reasons and the solution for you.
Error Description:
Recording failed, for some changes in your graphics driver or sound card driver. Please restart the program and try recording again.
Reason:
The permission of Camera and Microphone has been shut down unexpectedly so that you will meet this error when recording.
How to Fix?
Solution 1:
Make sure the relevant graphics driver or sound card driver has been installed on your computer. To check if these 2 drivers are functioning, please make sure that there are sounds coming from the Speaker and the display of the screen is normal.
Solution 2:
If your computer is Windows 10, please turn on the permission of Camera and Microphone by following the operation below.
Step 1. Enter the Privacy Settings
On your computer, go to the bottom-left corner Windows icon and then Click to Gear button to enter the whole Windows 10 settings page and scroll down to hit Privacy.
Step 2. Turn on Permission to Access Microphone and Camera
Now, enter the Privacy of the whole computer. Then scroll down to Camera and Microphone and then under Allow apps to access your microphone/camera, press the button to allow TuneFab Screen Recorder to access your Microphone or Camera. After that, go and check if your problem is fixed.
If not, then please click to the three-line button and on the drop-down list to enter the Log file location and then provide with us the log 1 and log 2 file to fix your problem.
